Kaixo! - Hello!

These photos are of the Jaialdi Basque festival held in Boise Idaho in 2005. It's an amazing event where thousands of Basques from all over the world (and non-Basques alike) meet for a week enjoying the rich Basque culture of dance, music, food and athletics, as well as seeing old friends and making new ones.

I am of Mexican-Basque descent, and honored to have captured a slice of my amazingly rich heritage. I hope you enjoy viewing these photos half as much I enjoyed taking them.
